“Confused by the sudden kiss, she pressed both hands against his chest. Her palms slid up over his shoulders, reveled in the familiarity of his hard muscles underneath the crisp cotton of his dress shirt. The intensity of the kiss left her breathless. Her fingers tangled in his hair and she arched against him. So much the same, but so different. So demanding.
It was like they’d never been apart. The same charge of passion was there. His beautiful hands were on her body, his tongue in her mouth. The memory of Aris had faded, but the guilt over hurting Corey hadn’t.
