I narrowed my eyes at him, scowling - with what I hoped was ferocity -and bellowed, "I can say what I want. I'm three times your age. When you get to be my age, you can say what you want. For right now, you're twelve and you're not supposed to swear in front of ladies. Got it?" He grumbled under his breath, forgetting that I could hear every word perfectly.
