The scene had been incredible. Though she was sore, her skin didn’t chafe or burn the way she thought it might after having been so thoroughly flogged. She rolled and stretched. Then she made the bed and headed for the shower. She had to meet her mother, cousin, and aunt for brunch in a little over an hour. She didn’t know where Keith was, but she reasoned that he wouldn’t let her go there alone. For better or worse, he’d taken the job of being her personal bodyguard.
