“But it would take more than a few hours of sunshine to dry out the sodden earth, and now the humidity had reached nearly unbearable levels. Between sweat and rain, Ravyn had gotten used to damp clothes, but she couldn’t tolerate the dirt ground into the fabric.Days of slogging through mud had left her pants coated below the knee.
