“‘What have you done with him?’ ‘One hour, that’s what I said,’ Caddie scowled. ‘You took one hour and five more minutes. You didn’t win the game.’ I leapt for her, suddenly furious. My fingers tightened around the top of her arms. As my hands fell away from Caddie’s arms the pain quickly began to ease.
