Djeri was ever at Tarah’s side, the stalwart dwarf shining in his new armor, knocking away obstacles in her path. If only her other companions were as useful. After all this time, they were still a disorderly group. Tied to her waist by long chains, they milled about, tripping over each other and yammering, mostly just slowing her down.
