“She hated hospitals. She hated the rules Finn was laying down even worse. For three days he had been by her side, so she was hardly in a position to bitch. Or was she?
She sat on the hospital bed calmly listening to him. His Irish accent was more pronounced, which meant he was either nervous or tired.
“We can either be at my place or at yours, but we will be together until the doctor says it’s okay for you to be alone,” he said, pacing the area in front of her.

“You do recall Harley and I found you unconscious Sunday night? Pick a place.”
She didn’t like his tone or his thinking; she couldn’t spit without his approval. She tried another approach. “Finn, I wouldn’t feel comfortable staying at your house that long.”
