“She didn’t want to miss breakfast, but she knew those men were behind her—watching. The last thing she wanted was to show off her jiggling ass as she stomped into the dining room—even if it was what she wanted most to do at the moment.
Did those two really think that she didn’t know what they were up to? She wasn’t their type. She pushed the thought of her two best friends and their men from her mind. She didn’t care what they said. There could be only so many men attracted to chubby girls in one town and she very much doubted this particular little hamlet had more than its fair share.
She stepped through the door to see her friends and the men who doted on them already seated and waiting, it appeared, for her.
“It’s about time you got your ass down here. I’m starved.” Milla scowled at her over her cup of coffee.
“Me, too,” Alexa added with a smile. She glanced at the two men flanking her and blushed.
