“Her head began to clear, and there was the distinct feeling of arms about her. Strong arms, and a very hard body. Nervously Nora opened her eyes and looked up into a pair of leaf green eyes laughing down at her. "Kyle?" she whispered. God! He was even better looking close-up. She closed her eyes again. This was not happening.
"Yes, Nora, darling, it's me," the rough-edged deep voice assured her, and she felt the kiss he pressed to the top of her head.
Nora's eyes flew open again. It was... happening. It really was happening!
"I'm glad you finally got up enough courage to come over, Red Rover," he teased gently. Then taking her hand, he drew her over to a mirror, understanding exactly what her next thoughts were going to be.
Nora gasped softly. She stared hard at her image in the polished glass. She looked about thirty! Her hair was bright again, a long and luxurious mop of red gold curls that tumbled with reckless abandon over her shoulders.MoreLess
