Four men and the boy sat around the long table, Tyler at the head, Oliver next to him, Habakkuk near the other end, and two men she didn’t know in the middle. They all turned at her entrance. Dove wiggled out from under her blanket, stood, shook, and ambled over, pressing against her leg. “Hi, baby.” Lily petted the dog. She was glad to see Dove was almost dry.
