Adam led me by the hand to the train station. On the train back to Copenhagen, I started shaking, a purely phy...sical response to fatigue and the morning’s violence. Numb and lost, I needed to reboot. I had three choices for that: a bookstore, a library, or a museum. Bookstores and libraries wouldn’t be much good if I couldn’t read Danish. Artifacts, well, I didn’t need signage to lose myself thinking about them.
We checked into our hotel room, left our bags there, and washed up. I was still feeling hyper and disconnected, so we found our way over to the National Museum of Denmark.MoreLess
