“My parents also put me in touch with a local realtor they had met at a recent realtor conference. I made an appointment to meet with him the following week. I spent the weekend organizing what would stay and what would come with me in two weeks. Furnished homes typically sell quicker and at higher prices, so I would only be taking with me what I could fit in my jeep and a rented trailer.
