“He muttered “sorry about the mess” as he passed the hotel janitor patiently leaning on his mop handle, Cam, Drew and Hunter echoing similar apologies behind him. His shirt clung to him like a second skin, the motel’s air conditioning quickly cooling the miniscule amount of warmth he had left.
