I didn’t think it was possible, but Sanderson’s gaze grew even colder. “Thank you, Mr Jinx.”
Jinx grinned. “Happy to help.”
If we’d been alone, I’d have swatted Jinx on the arm for being a smartass. But I didn’t want to start squabbling with my partner in front of the boss – especially when he was giving us a dressing-down.
