Stewart Parkinson made his debut as the hotel clerk and Emma Sinclair was suitably fey as Ginevra Boynton. Various somewhat dated comic characters played counterpoint to the main drama, as arrogant Lady Westerholme intimidated her companion Amabel Pryce – who, incidentally, was played in the original London production in 1945 by a young Joan Hickson who in later years gained worldwide fame portraying Miss Marple.MoreLess
