“I made a date tomorrow morning for us at the embassy.”
“Oh? Is that necessary?”

“That’s good to hear. What time?”
“Eleven. We have that nine o’clock breakfast meeting with the Russian Publishers’ Association. Lunch at one with the editors from Ogonyok. A good magazine, Jess. There’s a copy in your room.
