Luna rolled her eyes. “Not a doctor exactly. A nurse, but I still remember most of what I learned.”
He pushed Kira’s hair away from her face. She lost some blood, but the cold hurt her more than anything. “I know she’ll be fine, but I still want to know what the h...ell those men were doing on my property.”
Kira’s eyes fluttered open. She frowned and glanced around. “Who are you? What happened?”
“I’m Luna, Luke’s mom. You passed out, darling,” Luna smiled, “and you were shot.”
