“There were no windows, no doors. Only mind-numbing blackness and the ever-present shadow figure that slashed his flesh again and again. Malcolm wanted to fight the figure, but it was as if his limbs were stuck in honey. He couldn’t move them quickly enough to do any damage to the individual.
