He had been watching the conversation between Tacitus and Bradán and it had disturbed him. Between them stood Wis. She moved off then and slumped down into one of the chairs in the Throne Room. She shifted uncomfortably.
“Are you sure we cannot be observed?” asked Faeder.
Ladra nodded. “I cannot explain why the Dark Druid did not shield his men from observation. Perhaps there is too much happening for him to consider that but it is only a matter of time. We still cannot locate the Dark Druid hi
...mself.”
Faeder nodded then looked at his daughter. “What is wrong?”
Wis was exasperated. “I had thought Bradán to be the key to ending this. I made contact with him at Ah’mos, to make him question his role with the Dark Druid. He might be the one that makes a difference in the coming war.”
“I believe that to be Meuric, my Lady” said Ladra, unconvinced by the goddess’s reasoning. “So what do we do now? Try someone else?”
Faeder closed his eyes. The problem with living in the Otherworld, where time does not exist, is that you can appear in any era and not always in the correct order.
