“Julia ran inside to grab a few items to take to the boat. A toothbrush was mandatory. She quickly threw clothes for tomorrow into her weekender bag, and she was ready to go. Cody was waiting in the car.
"That was fast," he said as she got in.
"I was motivated," she replied with a smile.
He started the car and got them on the road. His hand reached for hers automatically, and he felt the same connection as before, just from touching her.
