Lothair
The last but one novel written by the English Conservative statesman Benjamin Disraeli, a British Prime Minister, parliamentarian and literary figure. In “Lothair”, published in 1870, the author gave prove of the superiority of the Church of England over Roman Catholicism. In spite of the fact that this work was a extremely popular among 19th century readers, it now to some extent overshadowed by the same author's “Coningsby” and “Sybil.”
