Little Red Riding Wolf
“The cabin was a mere shell of what it used to be; there would be much to rebuild. Christian had crawled to the steps of the doorway in a half human half wolf state before he collapsed. Lynx believed him dead. The few Fenris wolves that came as backup were sprawled into various sections of the humble cabin, all dead or fading fast.
She looked around and tossed up debris in her search. There was so much devastation, so much carnage. There were moments that she flashed back to the nightmare of finding her grandmother torn to pieces in this very cabin. However, these were not beloved family members; these were the creatures responsible for her demise. Lynx was not sorry, she was not apologetic.
In the fury of the fight she had lost track of Grayson. It was he she sought out in the rubble. Dust settled and the thunderous beginning of a storm fast approached. It was there, in the distance, she saw Grayson limping toward her in wolf form. There were bits of fur missing and a noti...ceable hobble to his walk, but otherwise fine.MoreLess
