New pink cardigan from one of the little shops on Main Street and gray dress slacks were comfortable but dressy. Her usual bright gaze and a hint of a smile spoke of inner purpose. Better than the first day she’d arrived, that was for sure. Just the memory of her soaking wet hair and bloodshot eyes made her cringe.
