“I’d like to go back sometime,” Kyra said. “I haven’t traveled like I used to.”
“You should,” Leah said. “Can’t you get jobs at some of the international shows?”
Her friend shrugged. “Probably. I guess I’ve just been sticking close to home.” She glanced toward the restaurant window. “I really do feel safer with Gianni’s body...guards watching me.”
“Ask him, then.” Leah sipped her espresso. “Gianni will get you in shows. Just tell him what you want.”
“I hate to impose. He’s been so good to me already.”
Leah rolled her shoulder. “I’ll ask him, then. He likes helping you.”
Kyra smiled. “You’re too much.”
