Got himself a coffee and candy bar then returned to the Homicide Desk. The other two had previously declined his offer.     When he got back to his desk, Domingo and Sudeep were hunched over a keyboard. They had attached Lance Riley’s processor to Leroy’s equipment. Domingo looked up as he arrived.     ‘Sudeep’s just proved it,’ she said.     ‘Proved what?’ Leroy asked, sitting down and taking a bite from his candy bar.     ‘Proved she was bullshitting you,’ Domingo said.     ‘It’s quite simple, really,’ said Sudeep. He kicked back against the desk so his chair slid back a few feet.     Leroy rolled forward on his chair and sat in front of the screen. ‘Show me,’ he said.     Sudeep leaned forward and signed out. ‘Now log on,’ he said. ‘Then key in what I tell you.’ ‘Okay.’ Leroy logged on, entered his password and got his Home screen.
