A robust laugh followed after that. “I would much enjoy seeing you try.”
“Yeah? Well, untie me and I’ll get right on that.”
Looked like Gesh wasn’t the only one head-talking with Alec’s team.
Groaning softly, Alec peeled open his eyes, n...oting how it was barely light. And how Chet and Roni were having a glare-off. Well, Chet was glaring. Roni was brazenly smirking. Alec would’ve shaken his head if he could have. Unfortunately, the fact that Chet looked so wide awake meant he hadn’t slept at all last night, or something had pulled him out of his slumber early.
