Of course, David sat there making all the right noises, offering all the right reasons why she might not be there serving them this morning, but Conrad was more upset than David had thought he would be. What David hadn’t bargained for was the bloke really did like Cheryl, wanted her for more than a bit of fun in the sack. He seemed overly upset by her absence today. How had David missed that?
