A week ago I thought it was awesome that some people had already put Halloween decorations out to go with the cold wave. Now they don’t seem fun anymore. The plastic skeletons dangling from the trees look like people who’ve been hanged and left to rot. I lie in bed until the sun is fully out, then text Kacey to see if she wants to go on a road trip to a town called Magwitch Park.
