I opened my eyes to see Bayta sink wearily into the seat beside me. “How is she?” I asked.“Still pretty upset,” she said. Her voice was as tired as the rest of her. “But I think she’s starting to calm down. A little.”“Don’t expect her to get it all sorted out overnight,” I warned.
