“Ana, are you here?” he called and then saw that she was curled up on the lounge on her veranda, sleeping.
Chance crossed the room, squatting down by the side of the lounge, utter tenderness overwhelming him as he took in her face as she slept. She looked peaceful, her cheek snuggled down into her palm, long lashes brushing her skin as she breathed softly.MoreLess
