“Rosalind smiled and stood. “I wish you both well.” With that she turned and calmly left the room willing herself to go slow when all she wanted to do was run up the stairs and bury her head in the pillow. Rosalind was able to keep her composure until she was alone in the chamber she shared with Penelope and the door clicked shut. Covering her mouth with her hand she tried not to let her sobs be heard.
