“There was a gaping wound with flesh torn and black blood flowing from it. I knew Lucifer had inflicted it upon Dorin. It had to be his doing and I hated him even more for using Dorin to trap me. The elevator rose at a slow pace as I wished for it to speed up. I knew I would soon be home, topside and although I was in a panic for Jet, I also knew Lucifer would not harm him in anyway. My first concern was to try my best to stop Dorin from dying a vampire’s death. In that he would not rise to Heav...en or fall to Hell. He would simply cease to be and the thought of that was too much for me. Dorin had obviously come to Hell for me and I felt a heavy weight in my chest as he tried to speak with black blood staining his lips. I looked down at him and shook my head.
    “You need to take your vengeance on all of them.”
