That last song, every time I heard it, I had to look away and think about something else. For some reason, even though I knew these were a bunch of high school kids whose idea of courage was taking advanced placement physics, I couldn’t stop thinking about the real people who had to leave everything behind them and hike out of their country at night with only the few things they could carry.
