Juliette had taken Hank to the bathroom to tend to his injuries. She called for Nick to join them, since he was banged up, too, but he told her to take care of Hank first. He knew she wasn’t happy with his response, but she didn’t insist. As far as Nick was concerned, he only had a few scratches and cuts, and they’d heal soon enough on their own. Right now, he wanted to check in with Captain Renard. He tried calling, but he got Renard’s voicemail. He left a quick update, then disconnected.
