I dial his number on my phone. “Yeah, this is Agent Williams.”
“Hunter Bane. I’m checking in to say that our plan’s working.”
“That’s good to hear,” he says. “Are you proceeding as planned?”
“It seems I’m gaining their trust, but I’m afraid I’ll have to dig deeper to find out more. The only problem is that they’re forcing me to do stuff that’s not exactly according to the law.”MoreLess
