“Max said with a smile as he kissed Becca gently on the cheek. She watched him walk away and stood there frowning. “Uh-oh,” Angie sang as she walked up. “Somebody looks cranky.” It had been two weeks since their first date and Becca was growing increasingly frustrated. “Shut up,” she mumbled and turned to walk toward the dressing rooms.
