“Never!” Micah nudged up beside her. His shoulder had healed well, and even his leg seemed to be holding out. Then again, he could be bleeding from both ears and he’d still say he was fine.
She urged her horse forward, breathing hard, her thighs screaming. It felt like heaven to be riding again. She pulled the animal up just as they reached the trail to the paddock. She laughed, feeling full and alive.
