She carefully moved out from under his heavy arm and slipped out of the bed. The room was black as pitch, as they were in some sort of sub levels of the basement and there were no windows. Moving quietly, she gathered up her clothes she could find and went to the bathroom and cleaned up. Pulling her hair back into a haphazard ponytail, she went to the door and after opening it, she left to wander ar...ound the halls. It hadn’t been her plan to do that, but she didn’t know the area down here, and had made several wrong turns before finding a staircase up to the main floor.
She decided she wasn’t going to think about what had happened, what they had done, what she had done until she got home. But she knew that the sooner she got out the better she’d feel. Stopping in the kitchen, she made herself a cup of hot tea, using a cup from the strainer and the tea from the ceramic container on the counter.MoreLess
