...ound the halls. It hadn’t been her plan to do that, but she didn’t know the area down here, and had made several wrong turns before finding a staircase up to the main floor.
She decided she wasn’t going to think about what had happened, what they had done, what she had done until she got home. But she knew that the sooner she got out the better she’d feel. Stopping in the kitchen, she made herself a cup of hot tea, using a cup from the strainer and the tea from the ceramic container on the counter.
