“She could not help but find a pattern emerging that reminded her of the murder of her daughter Elena. Young, single women, usually white, alone, late at night, and almost always on a Saturday night or early Sunday morning. Harriett, however, did not just sit on this information. She gathered together with other parents of the Houston Chapter of Parents of Murdered Children organization.
