The patio got picked up and the dishes somehow done.
Frank took a sleeping pill to make sure he’d look and feel his best in the morning.
Exhausted from two straight days on my feet and the idea of spending the rest of my days in an orange jumpsuit while my husband cavorted with his attractive co-hostess, I was sure I’d pass out the second my head hit the pillow. Instead, I spent hours counting not sheep, but circumstantial evidence against me: Altercation with Laila.
