“All right, Izic.” She closed her eyes again, not caring what he was talking about. “When you come back the next time, I wish for you to bring me a rose. You know where they are hidden.”
“We have them. And we know how to u...se them.” The voice wasn’t Izic’s. She wasn’t even sure whose it was, but she nodded. The rose had been both her blessing and her curse. But it was magical. “Wake enough to take some of the broth, love. We have to help you.”
“I’ve no need of food or broth, Izic. Please, just leave me in peace.” The man said no and she looked up at him. “Elam? What kind of trick is this?”
