“It was a small, old CIA safe house, attached in a long row to homes like it, all built of concrete, their tiny dust-patch yards separated by stone walls. The room with its door masked by a fake bookshelf was invaluable, and held all of their communications equipment and weapons. As well as any escaped slaves they might have.
