“Vosser was waiting for Pas Pol when he approached the sawmill’s door. It was chilly, and she wanted to get back inside. “Are you Pas Pol? Excellent. His nose twitched as strong odors assailed his nostrils, but there was no time for analysis as Vosser took hold of the initiate’s arm and pulled him back into some shadows.
