“Madigan watched the beautiful angel as he knelt on the floor beside the couch.

Then Michel was there beside Bren on the floor, pressed close to the other angel, and rested his head against Madigan’s stomach. It felt good to be so completely encompassed by his guardians. Michel’s hand started stroking Bren’s back in slow steady circles, which made Madigan wonder exactly what sort of relationship the two of them had.
Madigan lifted his head and stared up into the soft brown eyes of his father’s angel and spoke. “Kiss me?”MoreLess
