“He ran to the Heart and raced up the steps of the king’s building. When he reached the king’s quarters, he opened the door and peered in. The bed was empty.
“Legaulle is in the king’s office,” stated a passing elf.
Morro nodded in thanks and raced to the office. He entered the room and saw his father sitting in a chair before the king’s desk. Prince Saratoma occupied the chair next to the historian, and the king sat behind the desk. They all looked up as Morro burst into the room.
“...Is there trouble to report?” the king asked with concern.
“No,” Morro replied as he stared at his father. “I delivered the message about demonkin to Prince Rigal as Prince Saratoma requested. He promised to disseminate it. I am just surprised to see my father up and about.”
King Elengal smiled broadly. “Come and sit with us, Morro. “We are discussing what must be done about the recent intrusion by K’san.MoreLess
