“She groaned softly and flinched when something cold settled against her cheek. “Don’t worry, Wilhemina. You’re going to be fine.” Aldin’s silky smooth voice instantly comforted her. She kept her eyes closed and reached up to remove what she determined to be an ice pack from her face. Memories of the awful fight between Aldin and Uriah and her stupidity rushed her.
