“Lo, Con and I looked at our phones at the same time. “Colton we’ll see you in a little bit we got a situation here.” Tyler looked at the three of us questioningly.
“What kinda situation?” He sounded like he thought he could get here in time to handle whatever it was even though he was hours away.
“Nothing to do with this brother. It looks like we gotta go run herd on the women, catch you later.” He muttered something about hardheaded females as the phone went dead.
He’d called Manci...ni to rip him a new one for siccing the mobster on his ass. It was fun listening to him go on and on about fucktard and whatnot, but once Mancini in his calm way convinced him that it was best for the kids he relented.
Like us he couldn’t just pick up and leave, not for a few days, he had shit to do to make sure things ran smooth while he was gone. He also had to take care of his parents and in laws and the old man we’d met over the holidays in the meantime.MoreLess
