“His shirt flew in the same general direction. Next he checked his leg out again and saw there was a hoof-shaped bruise there. It was turning all sorts of colors and he hoped Leah didn’t freak when she saw it. He rose to go to his jeans for condoms. Taking out a fresh supply, he threw them on the nightstand and waited for Leah to emerge from the bathroom.
Finally, she did, smiling at him. “All ready for me, I see.”
Her gaze dropped to his leg. “Does it hurt?”
“Nah. The doc gave me some pain pills and a numbing shot.
Now why don’t you lie down here on the bed and let me undress you so I can have some fun?”
At first she looked dubious, but relented and sat. “That sounds like an excellent way to pass the time,” she teased him, scooting up on the bed and lying back.
