I asked Jerry later, “Did you really throw a chair at Bill?”
His face brightened for an instant. A grin emerged. “Is that what they’re saying?” I nodded energetically, pleased at any sign of animation on his part. “No,” he said. “Of course I didn’t throw a chair. Do you think I’d risk throwing out my back again for that double-dealing bastard?”MoreLess
