“Brightly colored paper lanterns bobbled on air and odes—of questionably romantic intent—roused the denizens of the district. Soon a multitude of Faeble voices—pixies and sprites, gnomes and ovoids, dragons, unicorns and all the others—joined in to sing the ancient songs. Faebles glittered, flew and flamed in celebration.
